About me
DUCK KOLENIK (producer/writer): She attended Colgate University and is a film/ online TV producer and screenwriter. She was a series producer on Diablo Cody's ‘RED BAND TRAILER’ and an associate producer on Cody's directorial debut, ‘PARADISE’. Duck adapted the novel ‘PRETTY’ with New York Times best-selling author, Jillian Lauren, which took home “Best Screenplay” at IFS film festival, and is currently being shopped around. She is also producing an original series of Jillian’s - based on her memoir, ‘Some Girls: My Life in A Harem’.As the communications lead and Creative Director for a media company, Duck wrote an entertainment column with celebrity interviews, while acting as the sole in-house writer for the company. While there, she also developed and perfected her skills at making pitch decks for various TV shows.
Duck co-wrote the biography of a world-famous fast-food chain founder and was subsequently commissioned to develop and write the pilot for its TV adaptation. Currently, Duck co-wrote a feature that is set to film in the fall in NY and has another feature greenlit. She and her cousin, Christine Kolenik, currently own the LA-based production company - Little k Productions, where they have over 15 projects in various states of production. She is repped by the founder of CITIZEN SKULL PRODUCTIONS.
