About me
Hello! My name is Justin Nijm and I'm a Palestinian-American filmmaker from Chicago currently based in Los Angeles. I got my start in comedy at Funny Or Die editing and directing web content, then later went on to direct and edit several episodes of "The Crossroads of History" for the History Channel in 2016. I have a lot of experience editing for non-profits like UNRWA USA and The IMEU, as well as for commercials and YouTube. I was hired by 20th Century to write a feature script with my creative partner, and worked as a freelance writer for Dark Burn on Gotham Knights. I produced the feature film Grasshoppers in 2019 and sold the film in 2022.I am currently working on two feature films in the horror genre, as well as podcast called Cinema Possessed, a food documentary, and an animated television show.
My other hobbies include building and woodworking, coffee, reading, and animation.
