About me

Hi, my name is Melvin.

By day, I am an extreme environment psychology researcher and by night... well... let's just say I have been in entertainment since 1984 (performer) and moved into production in 1996. Always good to balance your science career with some art!

I have worked most tasks, ushering, acting, and nearly all forms of backstage work (save for lights/sound which I wanted to learn).

My favourite position has always been stage management. I worked in that position with nearly constant paid work offers for about 7 years before I went on a forced hiatus where I picked up radio, television, and some film credits.

I live in Georgia and tend to work in Florida. I have a van that I can travel around in if people want to hire me outside of my usual area.
