Robert worked for over a year as Casting Associate with Casting Director Pat Moran, C.S.A. (THE WIRE, HAIRSPRAY, HOMICIDE:LIFE ON THE STREET) and was a proud member of the team to win an Emmy® Award for casting GAME CHANGE with Julianne Moore and an Emmy® Nomination for casting Season one of VEEP starring Julia Louis-Dreyfus, both for HBO. He was East Coast Casting Director on the award winning the award winning comedy/horror THE NIGHT WATCHMEN. Recent Feature Film Production Management and production support includes BILL TILGHMAN AND THE OUTLAWS, NOTHING FROM SOMETHING plus several SAG-AFTRA shorts. For Columbia Festival of the Arts, Robert was the creator and Administrator of the Columbia Film Festival.

Robert started in the West End of London as assistant to late producer Richard Armitage on several hit shows, including ME AND MY GIRL, HIGH SOCIETY, THE ENTERTAINER, and Rowan Atkinson’s one man show A NEW REVUE.  While in London, Robert produced and directed the successful West End debut of IS THERE LIFE AFTER HIGH SCHOOL? at the Donmar Warehouse. Robert's play, 41N 50W, based on the 1912 Titanic Senate hearings showcased at the St. James Theatre in London and at SeaCity Museum in Southampton, UK.

A member of Screen Actors Guild/AFTRA and Actors’ Equity, Robert produced and directed the documentary MR. OCEAN LINER about Maritime Historian William H. Miller. This bio pic premiered on board Queen Mary 2 and at Lincoln Center. This film, and Robert's other documentary  THREE QUEENS-AN INTERNATIONAL RENDEZVOUS  are available online and in the book shops on all three Cunard liners. Robert co-produced and directed the documentary BACK FROM THE LIGHT, which is available as a DVD and on demand.

As a photographer/videographer Robert has shot cover page & publicity photos for Chesapeake Shakespeare Company, as well as a wide range of commercial and residential real estate projects, modeling & advertising, live events, headshots & travel images.
