About me
Hello,My name is Thomas Parfitt but everyone calls me Tommy. I am a Camera Operator/ Director of Photography that has been operating for over 10 years. I mostly work on Docudramas, Competition Reality, TV Studio Shows and Field Segments for Talk Shows as a Camera Operator. I am a Director of Photography on Corporate videos, EPKS, and Special Events. I believe I possess the qualifications necessary to make an immediate and positive contribution. I have a strong work ethic, constructively organized, and detail oriented. I am an excellent communicator with well defined interpersonal skills. I am self motivated, work effectively on my own and in group or team settings on all levels.
What kind of shooter am I? When covering a story I have been trained to shoot in a documentary style that is seamless and tells a story from beginning, middle, and end. Making my footage easy for an editor to cut together into a segment for broadcast. My B-roll style includes foreground genre, splitting the frame into thirds, reflections, rack focus, obscure angles, and time lapses. I'm capable of shooting sit down interviews with three point lighting or interviews that are on the fly out in the field. I have covered live action sports such as Football and Basketball games from all over the field and court as well.
