The first Citizens’ website was created in 1999. I am delighted to say that the Citizens’ is now able to keep you up to date with everything that happens as it happens!

We have added a brand new centre for the media. Here you will be able to download, amongst others, copies of our press releases and production images. Working alongside the news section the media centre will keep you up to date with current events within the theatre and also future productions. Of course you can also use the website to look back at the history of the theatre, information on the company, the building and those who have worked and continue to work here.

Our on-going commitment to Outreach and Educational work is reflected in the access section which, in time, will be fully interactive for educational providers as a resource to complement current workshops and master classes.

The Citizens’ website is much more than a tool to sell tickets. With this new site we have the ability to open up our archives, with both text and images, to those of you who are committed friends of the theatre or those who simply wish to know a little bit more about it. You will be able to contact us with your opinions, be the first to download a copy of new brochures, take advantage of special offers and win a few prizes, but most importantly it is a point of contact for us with you.

Having now welcomed you to the new website, we hope to welcome you to the theatre in the near future."
