Daybreak Pictures was formed in 2007 by Executive Producers David Aukin and Hal Vogel and has forged a reputation for creating high profile and critically acclaimed drama. Before founding Daybreak, David and Hal ran the drama department of Mentorn Television where they also produced the BAFTA-winning The Government Inspector, A Very Social Secretary and The Hamburg Cell. The company remains part of the Mentorn Group with Mentorn CEO John Willis on the board of directors and Tinopolis MD Arwel Rees as Chairman.
