Amanda Caponi is an award-winning director and producer living on Long Island. She has recently received her Bachelor’s Degree in Film Studies and Production at Hofstra University. Amanda has produced a number of student films as well as directing and producing her own.
Amanda has also completed two internships at the Suffolk County Film Commission and Cutter Productions. At the film office, she learned about location scouting and the everyday work of a film commission office. When interning at Cutter Productions, Amanda was a production assistant on a Superbowl commercial and a documentary film, The Remix: Hip Hop X Fashion.
On a personal note, Amanda loves discovering new places on the island and long drives to the beach. She also enjoys cooking and enjoying the finest Long Island bagels and pizza.
