About me
As a strong team leader with abundant imagination, I bring proven talent in development and production. You can count on me to produce quality work with consistent attention to detail, and disciplined multi-tasking. My creative instinct is to shape stories that entertain while pushing boundaries and broadening perspectives.Recently, I’ve developed an ambitious TV series that grew out of my obsession for 1960’s music and counter-culture. The story is inspired by the book “Positively 4th Street: The Lives and Times of Joan Baez, Bob Dylan, Mimi Baez Fariña, and Richard Fariña”, which I secured the rights to adapt for film and TV. These four are our main characters – talented youngsters who get fame early – and 60’s trendsetters populate our show. They converge in Greenwich Village, use one another in a quest for fame, fall in and out of love, and invent a sound and style that are one of the most lasting legacies of the 1960s.
I’ve produced 2 feature films, which required extensive coordination on my part between departments. The film “I’ll See You Around” premiered at Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival in August 2019. In London, I was Producer’s Apprentice at BBC TV on a weekly show about the science and history of food. As Writer and Production Coordinator for NBC News in San Diego, I learned to distill complex stories and adapt to constant logistical changes. As Office Manager and Marketing Associate at the distributor Kino Lorber, I excelled at VOD, logo creation, affiliate growth, and general admin support.
