About me
I have been working in the VFX industry since October of 2016 with Entity FX as a junior VFX Coordinator, and on April 2017 I was promoted to VFX Coordinator. Working with Entity FX was a wonderful opportunity in experiencing the fast-paced world of television. I also really enjoyed rigging—I’ve rigged both characters and objects on a handful of short films. I’ve written small scripts in Python to help facilitate animators. I immensely enjoy the technical side of visual effects, and would love to immerse myself more.I am the kind of person that will do a task immediately once given. Instead of leaving duties on the backburner, I ensure that it is done as soon as it can be and that it is completely done. I put forth 150% on every duty, and do my best to help the flow of work so that deadlines are being met. I take pride in my reliability, but also my patience; I believe patience is a key value to have in this industry. Due to the nature of this industry, one must always be on one’s toes in case of any sudden changes, whether that is in regards to a change in plates or if a shot is omitted. However, since we deal with a wide variety of people, it can be easy to lose focus and temper. I see patience as an important virtue to have so that one does not lose one’s cool and maintain a professional reputation amongst others.
I love working with others and working out pipelines to create a smooth workflow. I may be young, but I am highly confident in my skills and abilities, and I believe I would be a great asset to any studio.
