About me
Born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana ; I have always excelled in the Arts throughout my early academics. I naturally became fascinated with drawing people particularly creating outfits and painting Portraits. After High School I decided to pursue my passion with painting and sewing and moved to Long Beach, California to enroll in their Fashion Design Program and thereafter moved to Atlanta to finish my education at Bauder College where I graduated with an Associate of Arts Degree in Fashion Design in 2003. While in College, I worked as a Beauty Advisor for one of the most successful Cosmetic lines and it was then that I found my other Passion as a Makeup Artist. After graduating from college I landed a job as an Art Director and Lead Makeup Artist for a local Atlanta Fashion and Entertainment Magazine by the name of Jazel that debuted in September 2003. Jazel Magazine successfully completed 2 publications and unfortunately went out to business due to financial set backs. I continued to work throughout the Atlanta’s Fashion and Entertainment scene as a Freelance Makeup Artist, working with several talented Photographers, I’ve worked on video shoots, Commerical, Editoral, Print, Fashion Shows and many Weddings. This is my 14th year as a Makeup Artist and I love every moment I get to spend on a set or just meeting people who need to look their absolute best. I am branching out to do more theatrical work for T.V and Movies. I look forward to developing my own cosmetic brand and I have just finished my first screenplay. I currently work with a highly successful Bridal Hair and Makeup company and I enjoy what I do everyday as a Makeup Artist.Additional information:
I specialize in T.V. and Film
I also am a hairstylists (dry styles only)
I give makeup lessons for the everyday women
