An art curator seeks the approval of a mob boss after proposing to his daughter.
Art curator Fran Simon is in love with his girlfriend, Julia Parisi. He's so much in love that he has recently asked her to marry him. Thankfully, his proposal is met with a resounding yes. But before they make the engagement official, Julia kindly requests that Fran ask her father, Aldo, for her hand in marriage. She assures him that it is merely a formality to make her father feel involved, however, Fran knows too well that Aldo has never taken a liking to him for whatever reason. If that wasn't intimidating enough, he also happens to be a mob boss. So it seems their engagement is pending until Fran can figure out a way to get Aldo's blessing.
