A day in the life of two homeless female veterans living in L.A.

This movie touches on homelessness, struggles veterans face when they return from combat and period poverty. The director wrote this short film based on an experience she had while working at a homeless shelter on skid row when a female veteran came in wearing combat boots and dog tags and had a shirt tied around her waist to hide her period stain.
