An overweight outcast becomes the first girl on the high school wrestling team

Nicole, an overweight and often bullied social outcast, spends her days adrift with no clearcut goals and ambitions. Fed up with blending in, she auditions for the traditionally all-male wrestling team. She faces resistance and resentment from most sides as her peers and school administration believe she will only embarrass herself. To everyone’s surprise, including Nicole, she makes the team. When the team heavyweight breaks his arm, Nicole is assigned to take his place. At the first match of the season, all eyes are on her more than ever, and she finds herself having to work even harder as the only girl in the high school wrestling circuit.
