Doin' My Drugs is the extraordinary story of musician Thomas Muchimba Buttenschøn - Born HIV+ in 1985 - and his crusade to use his music to wipe out AIDS in his native Zambia and beyond.

Doin' My Drugs tells the extraordinary story of musician Thomas Muchimba Buttenschøn, born HIV+ in Zambia in 1985. He emigrated to Denmark as an infant for treatment. At eight, he lost both parents to AIDS, and nearly died himself. After recovery, Thomas fell in love with music and, at twenty, became a pop star. After marrying and fathering two sons, Thomas reconnected with family in Zambia, and was shocked to discover that AIDS was still devastating the country. Determined to make a difference, Thomas decided to dedicate his life to using his music, and his own story, to raise awareness about HIV and treatment in Zambia. Teaming with an extraordinary group of Zambian musicians, Thomas has embarked on a crusade to wipe HIV and AIDS in Zambia, and throughout Africa.
