A poor Russian farmer leaves the Soviet Union to come to America and live his dream.

Ilia Fakov lives with his mother and sleeps in a barn with his favorite cow Masha. He becomes pen pals with a California surfer dude who invites him to America. He boards a plane in the outskirts of Moscow and begins the journey of his life.
