An out-of-work songwriter must land a golden opportunity before it's too late.

Peter can't remember the last time he was hired for a songwriting gig. During a lunch date with Andrea, a new contact, he learns that she's well connected in the pop music industry and wants him to write the music for an emerging pop singer. Peter's excitement is then deflated upon returning home when his father discusses coming back to work for him. Peter is faced with an ultimatum - either make it as a songwriter, or go back to his dad's butterfly farm. Peter pulls an all nighter and, with some last-minute inspiration, writes a new pop song. He passes the good news to Andrea, who then introduces him to the studio's new client - Rebecca Black.
