A drag queen is attacked on her way to a competition.

A latin american drag queen must win her show in the evening to cross her mother over the border. She forgets her mix at home and must run back in full make-up even though her father, who doesn't know she is queer, is home. On her way back she is roughed up by some kids and must pull herself together for the performance.
