‘Rolling’ is the story untold in skateboarding - Amongst every aspect of its industry, skateboarding videos have progressively become the most influential contributions to the movement skateboarders hold so dearly. Now more than ever, filmmaking within skateboarding is just as important as skateboarding itself - The way we present it has to reflect on the individual both in front of and behind the lens. Filmmaking within skateboarding has broken new barriers in the film industry and has only recently opened up to the use of industry standard cameras, however there is still a strong presence of Super 8 and VHS which begs the question - Is Hollywood the future for filmmaking within skateboarding or do they have their own agenda?
