Saturn's Return focuses on 3 generations of women as they simultaneously encounter their 1st, 2nd & 3rd Saturn's Returns over a backdrop of extreme weather as the UK is impacted by climate change. Every 29.5 years Saturn completes his orbit around the sun and returns to the exact place he was when you were born: it is renowned for being a year of change and difficult growth. The granddaughter Dahlia feels lost as she approaches her 30th birthday and desperately tries to make it as a vegan influencer. Her mother Wynter battles a health scare and Hazel, the Grandmother, goes viral for tackling Michael Gove at a climate protest.
