A troubled musician discovers that his therepist is using his patients to commit crimes.

When Billy, a struggling musician, realizes it's time to turn his life around and help his wife, Chavine, overcome her alcoholism, he seeks out an experimental therapist, Jack, who specializes in helping patients start over. Jack informs Billy the best thing he can do for Chavine is leave her. Jack accepts Billy as a worthy candidate to his program and sets Billy up with a new life, but Billy quickly realizes things aren't what they seem when he takes on his new identity as "Jimmy" Soon after meeting the rest of the "therapy group" Billy learns Jack is manipulating his patients into committing crimes for a criminal enterprise Jack is indebted to. Billy's first heist goes wrong and he is identified on a news broadcast. Jack realizes the only way he can protect Billy is to force him to undergo facial reconstructive surgery by one of the other therapy patients, a former plastic surgeon. Eight years later... Billy, now "Jimmy" a trusted member of the organization, takes a leave of absence following the murder of Jack. Overcome with curiosity, Jimmy works his way back into Chavine's life as her daughter, Lilly's, piano teacher. In this brief serenity, the ultimate conflict arises as Chavine begins to uncover clues to Jimmy's true identity. With time running out and the organization now aware of Jimmy's whereabouts, Jimmy realizes he's put Chavine and Lilly in the cross hairs of the same assassin who killed Jack.
