Horror Comedy about how quickly the tables can turn.

A young female, Emily, arrives home late one night to find an intruder frantically rummaging through her New York City apartment. The robber quickly becomes threatening and violent when the young lady denies having possession of the drugs he is after. That is, until the roommate comes home and things take an unexpected turn. The comedy lies in the fact that the main character, Emily, hasn’t been stealing drugs from the hospital she works at, but actually blood— for her roommate Reyna, who turns out to be a vampire (and kills the robber). At the end of the film, fun banter and casual jokes are exchanged between the two female roommates, and all while the recently killed robber lays bloody on the floor. The final lines in the end scene right after the attack are: REYNA: “Hey, the sun won’t be up for another 5 hours. Wanna watch the Kardashians?” EMILY: (un-phased, yet aware of the dead robber on the floor near her): “Okay, yeah.” RENYA: “I’m glad we did away with the carpets.” EMILY: “Hardwood floors are much easier to clean.” REYNA: “Fact.”
