Tangled 8 is eight adaptions of the same script.
The film explores the how people of different social background, race and age manage grief through its different phases. Tangled 8 is also a film about film. It also gives homage to the cinema that has shaped all of our lives; playing tribute to John Ford, Woody Allen, Mike Figgis, Peter Greenaway and many others, that have helped to create our modern cinema. Tangled 8 was originally written as a short film, that is until director John E Seymore created the concept for the anthology. The idea was based on the classical music idea of variations on a similar theme. The idea of doing the same script, but told differently through action, visualization, situation and sound.
