A young boy finds courage through an unlikely superhero persona.
After eight year old Alex is told he cannot be Superman for Halloween because he is Chinese, Alex goes in search of a superhero from his own culture. He finds the Monkey King who defends the innocent from evil. During the school Halloween party Alex finds the perfect opportunity to showcase the Monkey King's strength.
