Aimless clerk, Guy, is facing a long, cold and lonely Christmas Eve shift at Baumstein's Christmas Tree Farm. When the girl of his dreams shows up and has her heart set on the farm's last white spruce, he knows saving it for her is his one chance at winning her love. But she's not the only one who wants this very special tree. Guy spends his night fending off mobsters, hagglers, an environmentalist, a chainsaw enthusiast, the festive family from hell, and even more bizarre characters in hopes of saving the last white spruce for his dream girl.
