1 7 minute film for Mayor Bloomberg's 2009 State of the City address profiling New Yorkers from the depression through war, the riots of the '60's the bankruptcy of the '70's, the subway strike of the '80's, 9/11, the blackout of 2002 and the financial crisis of 2008 and showed their incredible resiliency and ability to rise from the ashes like a phoenix.
