Through his eyes

2016, 5 minutes

A divergent perception of beauty through a child's eyes, who looks at his tired mother, overwhelmed by her daily duties.

The story of this short focusses on the topic of how society perceives and evaluates beauty. We see a mother, who is going through her daily routine whilst raising a child. We can see how tiresome it may be, especially when you are expected to be not just a great mother, but also a "perfect" woman. What is perfection? The answer will be given by a child, who thanks to his innocence is not conscious of what is "good" and what is "bad" according to our society; he is still free in his thoughts. The story develops around three characters which represent three different stages of life as social beings: 1 - CHILD Carefree and in the process of intense learning. 2 - YOUNG GIRL Formed to a certain extent, but not yet fully obliged or commited. 3 - MOTHER Responsible, providing certain extent of freedom and opportunity to other. All the characters form a significant and unbreakable chain of life course, played on a stage called "Social Scene".
