Taran was born with the ability to channel the electrons in the air into fantastic electrical power. He used his gift to adopt the superhero Identity “Voltage”. He fought the good fight, but was brash and arrogant. He was held in check by his trusted partner and dearest friend, Ciere, a once ruthless assassin known as “The Archeress”. He was once faced with the choice to save a close friend or protect his city, and in the end he lost both. Five years passed since the incident. Taran has been wallowing in Alcoholism and Self-Loathing until Ciere finds him and digs him up. The people they’d spent years saving were being threatened by a figure known as Decimus. Taran found his resolve once more, and together the two defeat Decimus. Ciere inspired Taran once again to enter the world of crime fighting. But now for the right reasons. At Ciere’s insistence, Taran underwent six months of rehabilitation, and now the two have returned to the streets, currently tracking multiple crime rings. Together they face threats both human and mystical.
