An Irishman's surprise visit to his NYC girlfriend results in being snubbed, then inadvertently involved with a conniving, thieving fun loving female.

We Just Met is a unique twist on the romantic comedy genre, fusing the elements of friendship, affection, betrayal and the emerging diverse cultures with a classic love American Hollywood trope. Set in New York City, the story captures what it means to surrender to love through the metaphor of a foreigner (Liam) thrust into a totally unfamiliar, unforgiving, and quintessentially American urban environment, where is forced to adapt. The film's signature moment, about half-way through, blends the traditional story arc of a Hollywood romantic comedy with one of Bollywood's most enduring conventions -- a dance number. As spontaneous and unexpected as it is cleverly organic and undeniably New York, this sequence is a melting pot of American culture and elevates "We Just Met" to be a transcendent audience experience, simultaneously familiar, and brand new.
