Seeking an animator to create a 10 second (perhaps less) 2D character animation sample. This sample will serve as a quality test and as a glimpse at a feature film in pre-production. The film, called The Last Christmas, is an animated Christmas-themed tale with a Lord of the Rings-like heart and structure. We want an animation style that emphasizes and effectively communicates expression, but with minimal lines in the designs.



Ideally this would entail everything from character design to final animation.



The art of Jean-Baptiste Monge provides a fair glimpse at the character design style we have in mind. Knowledge of the films of Ralph Bakshi is a plus as well.



We're looking for an animator who can successfully:

· Complete steps quickly under communicated deadlines

· Take direction and maintain active communication with the producers about progress, execution and any difficulties that arise

· Have open availability - we will need work to begin immediately and be completed as quickly as possible



We anticipate this taking around 40 hours of work.



Project rate: $500 (negotiable)



The animator will be receive a credit on the feature and will be highly considered for a prominent position on its team when it goes into production.
