Our News TV Show is hiring a Director / Producer who will be responsible for the on-air operation of the automated control room systems to assist with the production of our live and pre-tape newscasts on our cable channel and award-winning streaming TV apps. Our News TV Show is different, anti-partisan and solutions focused.The ideal candidate is an excellent director/producer, creative problem solver and strong visual storyteller who is in-sync with the news of the day. We are looking for someone who can lead in developing technical systems to support collaboration and adaptation as part of a passionate and hardworking team. What you'll do:Pre-production of newscasts.Work with producers and anchors to coordinate pre-packaged production, studio shot planning and graphics integration.Live direction of newscastsProvide the technical knowledge to backup control room systems and critical production signal flow.Assist with remote set-ups and field switching.Build graphics and produce video.Coordinate with Scripps broadcast hub counterparts to ensure all operations are handled smoothly.
