Our Institution invites applications for a part-time adjunct lecturer position to teach (potentially online) our Projection Design I course in the Spring 2021 semester beginning January 1, 2021 and ending May 15, 2021. The course focuses on the investigation of the projection design process, equipment, multi-media, digital technology concepts, and related documentation. This position is fixed term and consists of 3-5 contact hours per week, including a three-hour lecture and a lab of asynchronous work by students.  The ideal candidate brings a professional and rigorous practice to a learning environment where digital tools and platforms are taught. We seek individuals with experience in visual and aural storytelling in a wide variety of media, excellent communication skills, expertise in collaboration with a creative and management team, experience in leading students and adaptability. Qualified candidates will have expertise to develop each student’s ability to use digital tools and platforms including some of the following tools: green screen, digital backgrounds, virtual environments including VR and real-time game engines, AR technology enhancements, motion capture, and utilizing 360 cameras. Applicants will demonstrate extensive career leadership. While academic credentials are desirable, all equivalent experience in the professional arena is also important.
