Exciting opportunity for an experienced theatre professional interested in directing our Theatre Company’s late Spring musical.13 The Musical by Jason Robert Brown, performed by middle school/early HS (grades 6 – 10th) actors. This show will have two directors each working with a cast of 15 collaborating on the vision and staging of this production. Only one position needs to be filled at this time. Rehearsals will be in mask and small groups in Louisville, CO. Performances will be outside in Downtown Louisville.Duties include, but may not be limited to:With the other stage director - Overseeing the audition process including audition format, cold reads, call back materials and casting - Auditions scheduled for Friday - Sunday, March 26 - 28 on ZOOM.With the other stage director- Creating a rehearsal schedule around the days that are selected for this production (Tuesdays & Thursdays 4:30 - 6:30 PM / Fridays 4-9 PM and Sundays 12 -7 PM) These days and times are divided between two cast.A choreographer and Music Director will be hired by CenterStage Theatre Company to work with both cast. Their schedule will be coordinated with both stage directors.Overseeing all areas of design and implementation, in conjunction with the other director.Engaging young actors throughout the rehearsal process to grow as actors and humansCoordinating with production manager on all aspects of the productionCorresponding with parents in a timely, professional manner, providing update on schedule and rehearsal process as needed.Scheduling all needed tech rehearsals and interfacing with CenterStage technical director, producer and production manager
