    We are looking for a producerial, creative and strategic leader to drive the continued growth of our mass media companies development and production of TV and feature films sourced from our brands’ world-class storytelling. As Head of Development & Production (Features, Scripted TV), reporting to the President, you will build and manage an IP portfolio and content strategy primarily for specific brands, generating a slate of creatively undeniable and ambitious projects to sell and distribute to the global marketplace. In the early stages of the role, it will require identifying the human, financial and technology resources necessary for success, realigning roles and responsibilities for existing teams and/or recruiting, and establishing workflows and processes within CNE and with stakeholders across the company. Primary ResponsibilitiesDevelopment Oversee a global creative strategy to grow our brand relevance and affinity with modern audiences around the world, building a development pipeline of original IP primarily from the brands GQ, The New Yorker, Vanity Fair and Wired across features, acquisitions, scripted series, unscripted, and documentaryImpeccable eye for connecting talent and building, packaging projects, leveraging relationships with artists, buyers and talent representatives Focus on quality while increasing the volume and diversity of content for multiple entertainment buyers and distributors globally and in specific marketsPartner with EICs and brand editorial teams to identify, prioritize and adapt ideas to be packaged and pitchedPartner with CNE Business Affairs to negotiate strategic deal terms with buyers, financiers, talent, other production companies, studios and sales agents for original content across entertainment formats, IP rights and digital video distribution and/or licensingLeverage a firm understanding of data analytics and digital metrics, collaborating with CNE strategy and brand editorial/audience development to appeal to existing fans and new viewers in trend-setting formatsProduction & CurrentOversee a global production slate of original IP, reviewing scripts, treatments, outlines, production schedules, assets, music, dailies and cuts and providing timely feedbackManage 3rd party production companies on multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining quality standards and control of brand association, adhering to contractual and deliverables requirementsEngage Condé Nast stakeholders across divisions meaningfully through production milestones, integrated planning and marketing launch opportunitiesLeadership Exhibit and set a culture of professionalism and results-oriented purpose, leading the team with practical optimism, a collaborative spirit and resourceful attitude with stakeholders across Condé Nast Build and manage a high-performing global team in development and production, relentless in striving for creative excellence and accountable to CNE business growth goals Inspire consistent focus on premium storytelling development, bringing fresh perspective to both the content itself and the people, processes and workflows behind itPartner with CNE Global Digital Video to establish workflows from inception to execution of short-form content and/or podcasts that strategically establish development pipeline Partner with CNE Global Physical Production to establish workflows from inception to execution that deliver quality, consistent communication, swift decision making, efficient budgeting, scheduling and deadline enforcementCollaborate closely with Legal Affairs to enforce and inform Condé Nast Intellectual Property policy and procedures, including market specific nuances and practices
