Our State University seeks qualified faculty to Innovate and build the theatre curricula into a flagship program that is highly desired by students. Use collaboration and creativity to expand high quality, meaningful academic and performance opportunities for students. Provide course instruction to students, direct theatrical productions, and support Arts Center programming.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES1.) Build up the theatre academic program through designing new courses and programs.2.) Minimum of 12 contract hours of teaching responsibilities and/or production work per semester.3.) Direct productions as part of the departmental season.4.) Participate in the development and implementation of Arts Center events such as residencies.5.) Provide a minimum of 5 hours devoted to office hours for the purpose of student advising and support.6.) Participation in professional and scholarly activities, including but not limited to research and dissemination of knowledge through publication, community, or faculty presentations.7.) Recruitment of students.8.) Course and program assessment.9.) University/community service.
