    Our Magazine seeks a Digital Executive Editor who will assist the Editor-in-Chief in leading the digital editorial and social teams in our New York office. Our ideal candidate is a strong leader who’s passionate about creating engaging entertainment, fashion and beauty, human interest, multi-cultural and social justice content for a digital audience.Our Digital Executive Editor must have a deep understanding of our core audience of U.S.-based Hispanics and how to develop and execute a content strategy that drives growth. This role will work closely with the editorial and growth vertical leads to define and execute our content strategy and meet our KPIs and brand goals. She/he has exceptional editing and writing skills —both in Spanish and English— and is adept at creating content that’s authentic, data-driven, brand-aligned, and engages both loyal People en Español readers and a new digital audience.She/he will work with stakeholders across the digital and print organizations to ideate editorial programs and franchises that drive and engaged audience and create meaningful sponsorship opportunities.The ideal candidate also has to successfully work within a fully-integrated digital and print team, has experience managing a budget, executing timesheets, producing and/or appearing as talent in video and photo shoots, overseeing social media, and using analytics tools like Google Analytics and have YouTube and affiliate e-commerce content strategy experience. She/he must be highly organized, collaborative, and adept at using analytics and current SEO and social best practices to make editorial decisions. She/he should also have a passion for our brand DNA: entertainment, fashion and beauty, human interest stories, news and trends.II. Essential Job FunctionsWeight %Accountabilities, Actions and Expected Measurable Results30%Work with staff editors and freelance writers to assign, top edit (in Spanish and English) and optimize content using best practices. Produce and write special packages and projects, including editorial programs with sponsor integration. Manage editorial tests to validate and support consumer journey. Glean actionable insights from content metrics and educate team.20%Manage, educate, and motivate editorial and social team to create high-quality content, programs, and products that meet Meredith Digital KPIs. Work with vertical leads to execute content and social strategy. Create and oversee digital editorial calendar.20%Serve as PeopleEnEspanol.com edit brand lead and liaison with internal stakeholders. Work with growth, SEO, sales and marketing, product marketing, and other teams to develop and support products and campaigns that drive acquisition and retention and help us meet brand OKRs.20%Work with our marketing team on RFP and sponsored program ideation. Work with the GM to develop ancillary revenue streams, including eComm.10%Other regular tasks such as: manage budget, attend events, and social media projects. Coordinate with video team and editorial/social team to conceptualize and execute video series. May also appear as talent in video and media appearances as appropriate.100%
