The staff writer for the news team will work an early morning shift (beginning at 6:30 a.m. EST) and will be responsible for helping to get the news operation up and running every day by pitching, writing and occasionally helping to edit a large volume of stories. Ideal candidate should be a self-starter who is ready to work in a fast-paced environment with daily breaking news assignments. The content assigned spans all of People’s 16 content verticals, meaning stories can run the gamut from entertainment news to crime and human interest, to content about food or pets.
