    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES The candidate is required to possess expert knowledge of industry standard broadcast platforms such as EvertzLeverage these tools to monitor the health and performance of a nationwide transport network  Identify and proactively report payload issues that may affect the audio/video/sync/format of each feedDevelop dashboards and optimize the alarming thresholds to create an alarm by exception environmentLiaison with Evertz to develop and deliver features/system upgrades and maintenance schedules Support a national sports association by verifying quality of service from each arena as well as the post-production broadcast and outbound partner feeds from the client headquarters Communicate directly and succinctly with the customer, in real time, in the event of any on-air issuesProvide incident management and drive to resolution any issues and escalationProduce and present regular metrics reports against the performance of the team and the network servicesBe the customer facing representative of the vNOC, Verizon Business and EvertzLead daily and weekly sync-up calls aimed at informing and updating the customer on arena or network incidents, remediation efforts and potential maintenance windowsLiaison with supporting Verizon groups to maintain strict SLA requirements behind the network itself and its componentsManage 3rd party vendors and technicians that are responsible for maintaining the arena, network and HQ infrastructureWEIGHTED SKILLS SET REQUIREMENTSA minimum of 10-years experience with television or video production processes and standards, specifically in HD/SDI and IP formats including multi-channel audio mapping, closed captioning and SCTE messagingDocumented experience managing a Network Operations Center in order to make split second decisions behind issues arising from any point along the signal flowMust possess situational awareness as you direct team members, from different support groups, as they collaborate to identify and resolve issues on any network or broadcast component  Experience with an IP based network, in order to communicate and resolve incidents with Verizon NOCs Possess excellent communication skills, in a large customer forum, to represent all Verizon business unitsITIL  Certification or other program process training a plus
