Reporting to the Technical Director and Production Manager, the Stage Technician is responsible for providing a range of techical theatre support to Academic Program and Dance Presenting Series performances of the Dance Department, and the faculty, students and patrons of the Dance Center. This is a part-time, seasonal job.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESAssist in the completion of the one or more of the following tasks as required in a safe and professional manner:Hang and focus of lighting instrumentsRunning and dressing cable.Loading and unloading of trucksAssembly of scenry and scenic materialsInstallation and operation of video and projection equipmentRun crew duties for production including gel and gobo changes, scenery shift, operating lighting console, operating video playbackAttend technical, rehearsal and performance callsBasic rigging of scenic materialsAbility to operate in a Genie Lift at heights up to 18’Ability to push a Genie LiftAblility to climb laddersOther duties as assigned
