Our Networks Technology Centre seeks a Network Engineer to be responsible for the design, implementation, documentation, and troubleshooting of computer networks with a focus on software automation, cloud, firewalls, security, and datacenter networks. Manage advanced networking hardware and provide support to application developers, end users and other operational personnel who may need assistance when using these systems. Provide design and product recommendations for both datacenter and branch office network and security deployments. Provide support to systems used by business units across Fox Corporation to deliver both television and live sports content with extremely tight SLAs. Work closely with these business units, both with their technical support teams as well as their managers and executives, to provide resilient and scalable design to support any network challenges that may arise. Specific duties include: 1) Responsible for the architecture, engineering and operational support of Fox Corporation’s perimeter networks that include NextGen firewalls, VPN remote access, Internet connectivity (including DMZ design), Cloud enablement, plus local and global traffic management services. 2) Responsible for building, updating, and maintaining the network infrastructure pieces to support Fox’s high- scale internal and public-facing media and broadcast infrastructure running on premises and cloud. 3) Work closely with multiple engineering teams and assist in making the infrastructure more scalable and performant. 4) Provide support to LAN, WAN, Wireless and Network security systems for all the Fox corporate office locations. 5) Responsible for deploying, designing, configuring and maintaining the security infrastructure of Fox and fixing most of the network security implementations of Palo Alto and Juniper Firewalls. 6) Configure route-based site-to-site IPsec tunnels for a secure communication between corporate offices using Internet Key Exchange (IKE) authentication. 7) Implement APP-ID to enable application-based traffic inspection which defines custom applications and comprehensive set of predefined applications to be applied on firewall policies. 8) Provide support to large number of business units including On-Air broadcast networks and Fox Earth station, internal application server farms, cutting edge enterprise data centers servicing proxy and web hosting environments and external facing 3rd party vendors. 9) Responsible for design, implementation and support of Aruba Wireless infrastructure at all Fox domestic locations which includes configuration and management of enterprise wireless hardware, software, and network access control (NAC). 10) Responsible for building Infoblox DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM) for Fox Corporate network and preparing equipment configurations and validation of configurations for new installations, troubleshooting network issues and assessing the overall health of the Infoblox Grid infrastructure. 11) Provide support to telecommunication networks by assisting Voice Team in migration of Voice over IP (VoIP) and configure SRST (Survivable Remote Site Telephony) testing by adding Null routes into the network in the event of system failure. 12) Lead efforts across the organization to implement, support, and troubleshoot to resolve critical network issues which involves working with ISP providers Verizon, AT&T, and Century link. 13) Work with multi-vendor TAC support engineers from Palo Alto, Aruba and Cisco to discuss business requirements and review critical Security Advisories to get latest information and remediations available for vulnerabilities concerning products and services.
