The JobWe’re looking for a creative and self-motivated Audio Engineer/Technical Coordinator to join our remote production team. This person thrives on tight deadlines, collaborative decision making, and has an impeccable attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have a background as an Audio Engineer or Technical Director in radio broadcast or live-streamed productions.This person will partner with the existing Audio Engineer/Technical Coordinators to manage all technical aspects of the show day to day including recording, playback and mixing during live and pre-taped segments. They will also be responsible for troubleshooting all audio systems for hosts, producers and contributors. They have a problem solving attitude and take initiative to proactively anticipate the needs of projects and their fellow teammates.This is someone who is comfortable working collaboratively with a remote team during early morning hours on a fast-paced show, and is able to multitask and prioritize under time pressure. An interest in news and pop culture is a plus. Candidates will need to provide their own dedicated workspace, capable of housing production equipment for the duration of the production.
