Immediate need for Right Hand/Stitcher - OverHire Established (1876) professional costume shop in Old City Philadelphia is seeking additional help in our continually growing custom costume department. Requirements:Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a professional costume shop/tailor shop with a detailed cut/sew environment. The candidate should understand costume construction and fabrication techniques. Must have proficiency cutting, draping, and patterning. A good knowledge of materials, interlinings, and interfacings in manufacturing of garments is needed.Experience and proficiency at operating industrial and domestic sewing machines including but not limited to; single needle industrial; overlock; merrow or serger; domestic straight and zig-zag machines.Company background can be found at www.costumers.com
