Responsibilities:Maintain and evolve 3D audio system architectureImplement new audio data driven systems which support designer centric audioSupport the current DSP architecture and tool setsImplement and code within stringent C++ standardsMaintain MFC system tools that are used to manage game side audio dataConsider new audio design methodologies and create plans to implement themWrite and maintain audio systems that data drive musicMaintain the MIDI effects engine that is used to drive all sound effectsDesign, develop and/or support existing in-house audio tools and low level audio codeFeature addition and improvement based on project and studio needsSupport and actively collaborate with other team membersFocus on optimization of our in house Skat audio engine that drives our play by play systemsResearch and implement a new special audio engineRequired:Strong C++ coding and systems design experienceAt ease with advanced mathematicsComfortable writing and maintaining c/c++ game code and in-house tools.Excellent organization and time management skillsAble to communicate effectively and activelyStrong social interaction skillsSelf-motivated and ambitious teammate with a good work ethic and reciprocal attitudeNice-to-Have:Game industry experienceAudio programming experience.Experience with middleware audio solutionsCross-platform experienceDSP experienceB.S. in computer science or equivalent experience
