I am planning on doing a short film that is a horror/mystery/thriller about Sean Mitchells, a 26 year old rookie cop who is a wannabe detective. I would relate this closely to the movie se7en but it’s more about his personal life while he’s off the job. Years after the disappearance of his mother, he receives the news that his father had just passed away. The story focuses on him going to his stepmom’s and dad’s house to collect his belongings as he was never close to his stepmom. Once he arrives strange paranormal experiences take place to lead Sean to find an old locked up briefcase of his dad’s. Inside was a written confession from his dad and his stepmom for the murder of his mother. Eventually we see a confrontation of Sean and his Stepmom.
