The Dennis Boys is an independent feature film in pre-production with expected filming Winter 2021-22. The production team is looking for a stop motion animator to collaborate on around 5 to 10 minutes of animation that will be interspersed in the film as a B plot.We are open to different techniques and preferences and skillsets. For example, if you are someone who specializes specifically in puppet creation for the animation, then we are open to that, but we are equally open to someone who prefers to create their own set design and animating the scene themselves. (We have an Art Director that can do as much or as little as you prefer if you have specific strengths and/or preferences.Specifically:Toys (or puppets resembling toys) of super heroes and nemesisHandmade lookSets should be inspired by Philadelphia (if creating the sets)Influences include: Robot Chicken, Team America, GumbyBIPOC highly encouraged to apply.Pay is negotiable based on experience and level of involvement in the project.
