    The Senior Editor, Native Content will join our team dedicated to best-in-class content across digital and integrated digital-print. You will play a crucial role in content brainstorms, content creation, and editing a variety of story types across the entire family of brands across the Meredith portfolio, with a strategic focus on Travel + Leisure, Food & Wine plus other brands that support travel and lifestyle content. Reporting to the Director of Content & Strategy, the Senior Editor should have a book of freelancers with diverse expertise at the ready, and be equally comfortable writing, editing, and assigning in a diverse range of voices. The Senior Editor speaks with authority on the tone and voice of Meredith brands.You will be responsible for:Managing the execution of a wide variety of sold campaigns – including native articles and social-first storiesEnsure internal teams and hired freelancers are on track with timelines and daily deliverablesAct as relationship manager for internal teams including edit, production, and legalCollaborate with digital and print counterparts to create seamless integrated executionsHave a database of freelancers with diverse expertise at the ready and is adept at writing, editing, and assigning in a diverse range of voices.Talk live with clients regarding concepts and copy drafts when necessary.Can be sent as writer/researcher for travel programs.Responding to a consistent flow of incoming RFPs and new business opportunities. Inclusive of:Engage in brainstorms and content strategy talks with marketing, sales, and editorial teamsCollaborate with Strategist to write persuasive content thought starters (across a variety of content types, brands, and platforms)Pitch ideas to sales and clientsOversee workflow and deliverables of EditorII. Essential Job FunctionsConceive unique, original, best-in-class native content campaigns that align with Meredith Corporation’s diverse audiences and advertiser goalsBe comfortable pitching ideas for a variety of concepts that go beyond written, including video, infographics, articles, tentpoles, social stories, and more. Be client facing when necessary and be a comfortable and capable public presenter.Work with the Director of Content & Strategy, Editor, and Coordinator to manage native content campaigns from presale, to activation, to finishOversee the execution of written content: o Finalizing the concepts o Craft assignment letter for writer o Manage feedback rounds and updates on content o Work with copyeditors, fact checkers, designers, and Creative Services as appropriate o Deliver each story on time o Manage and mentor Editor while collaborating on the aboveOversee an Editor (staff or freelance) who you will mentor and guide as they grow their skills and careerCultivate close relationships with the editorial staff of all Meredith Corporation brands
