Our manufacturer of electric vehicles is looking for a visual creative storyteller who is a master videographer and editor to support the business under the marketing department. The position will report directly to the Marketing Manager and own video production and editing that delivers world-class video assets that create distinctivity across platforms. The candidate needs to be a self-starter with organizational skills and a good attitude. Individual contribution is necessary, as well as creative direction and a clear understanding of the brand identity.ResponsibilitiesStrong visual storytelling capabilitiesDirect and capture product + lifestyle video content for external and internal commsHigh proficiency in editing video content – brand consistency is importantCollaborate with team to create social reels, behind-the-scenes footage, and other content for social mediaCapture content for a variety of aspect ratios across various social media channelsCreative direction in collaboration with cross-functional teamsHelp with pre-production materials like location scouting, lighting, Run of Show, sourcing props, sourcing on-camera talent, music, and usage rights organizationTravel with the team to events, large video, and photo productions, and moreAbility to maintain a positive attitude and always looking for path to “yes”Good at receiving and implementing feedback, and adding a creative perspectiveBuild and organize production equipment inventory and maintain equipment (Canoo will provide and own the equipment you need)Ability to organize and manage asset inventoryColor grading - motion graphics capabilities if applicableStay up to date on the latest video creative trends
