Our Media Group is in search of an Audio Technician for our client, a premier global telecommunications partner in Dallas, Texas.This is a freelance role on an as-need basis.Responsibilities:Executes complete audio mixing for live and taped broadcasts, in the context of originally produced programs and public service announcements that will meet the standards of the Company brand and its loyal subscribers and viewersCollaboration with a production crew that produces regular, special live and taped shows related to various audiences deemed appropriate by the Company brandTroubleshoots audio issues by teaming up with EngineeringPerforms other duties as assignedQualifications:Associates degree in audio, broadcasting, or related field – OR – Two (2) or more years of successful experience mixing audio and running a board in television news or sports, studio-based programming or similarly related professional media production and media presentationCandidate must exhibit proven success with organizational skills and development of a variety of media products (for both live and taped applications)Experience using various audio equipment for live and studio-based environmentsDemonstrated ability to work with diverse groups, and effectively communicate, both orally and in writingKnowledge of current technologies appropriate to the position's job responsibilitiesAbility to lift/carry 20 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds; some physical activity requiredAbout Maslow/IQSSince 1988, MMG has grown to become a respected integrated Workforce Solutions provider and industry leader while aiding fortune 100 corporations, financial institutions, government agencies and broadcasting and multimedia companies.
