Build yourself a more exciting future at LEGOLAND Discovery Center Boston and a Guest Experience Host - Costume Performer!We offer $14.25 per hour, Flexible Schedules and a FUN Environment!About The RoleWe are currently recruiting for a Guest Experience Host- CostumePerformer to be part of our costume character team bringing to liferecognizable “character” representation for LEGOLAND Discovery Center. You will also be required to act as a buddy for our onsite characters, so very good visitor interaction along with great performance and improvisational skills are a must. This role entails a meet and greet photo element as well as potentially working in other roles across the attraction as required.Responsibilities:·         Adopts an enthusiastic, assertive, and passionate approach to Guest Service, and demonstrates the Merlin Values at every opportunity.·         Seeks out guest contact and displays enthusiasm and boundless amounts of fun energy.·         Ability to learn choreography and perform in costume multiple times throughout your shift·         Ability to operate a ride following all Health and Safety procedures while still delivering an excellent guest experience.·         Ensure all public areas have well stocked displays at point of sale, ready for the attraction opening and that the areas are maintained and kept in a clean and tidy manner throughout the day.·         To follow opening and closing procedures as detailed in the department’s operating plan.Responsibility to ensure compliance of Health, Safety & Security within the workplace and in line with·         the Group Policy (HS001).About You·         Due to scale demands of costume, applicant size must fit the dimensions of the costume, including being between 5’2” and 5’ 7” in height.·         An outgoing personality with high energy!·         Able to work in costume with limited visibility.·         Experience in a customer service role.·         Fun, dynamic, and friendly personality.·         Outstanding customer service skills·         Excellent improvisation skills·         A proactive approach - being able to 'think on your feet' and take ownership of issues that may rise.·         A desire to create memorable experiences for guests.·         Team player - ability to work within a close knit team while also being able to work independently.·         Experience in Dance and Theatre also able to learn and perform choreography.
