Production Technicians are members of the Production Department at TheatreSquared. Production Technicians will be assigned a primary division within the production department (scenic, costumes, lights, sound, props, etc) where they will fulfill the majority of their hours. As needed they will also be assigned to work with the other areas of production as well as assigned to work on run crews. Between productions, production technicians can expect to be working on organizational, maintenance, and repair projects. Production technicians may also be assigned to work with other departments and divisions at TheatreSquared including be not limited to: Events, Facilities, Company Management, and Community Experience.



Costume Focus

Production technician with a costume focus reports to the Costume Shop Manager. This technician will primarily work in the costume shop, building and preparing costumes for each production. This position is also expected to join wardrobe crews for productions as needed.



As a key artist helping create shows that allow audience members to think beyond their lived experiences—and as a positive, collaborative member of an inclusive workforce—this position will help TheatreSquared answer the question, “How can a theatre be an agent of social change—helping foster a community that is fundamentally more equitable?”
